After School Program

Team Lead

We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring After School Program Lead to join our dedicated non-profit team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where students can learn, play, and thrive after the school day ends.

The After School Program Lead will support children through play-based learning, outdoor exploration, creative activities, and positive relationship building.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a valued member of our team, your role may include, but is not limited to:

  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for children

  • Plan and lead engaging indoor and outdoor activities

  • Support play-based and educational experiences

  • Prepare and provide healthy snacks

  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff

  • Maintain appropriate supervision and safety standards at all times

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current Criminal Record Check

  • Responsible Adult Certificate or Early Childhood Educator Certificate

  • Valid Child First Aid certification

  • Experience working with children in a childcare, educational, recreational, or similar setting

ADDITIONAL PREFERENCES

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude

  • Passion for working with children and supporting their development

  • Familiarity with Montessori or play-based learning environments is considered an asset

HOURS

Applicants must be available Monday to Friday from 2:30 PM to 5:15 PM.
