After School Program
Team Lead
We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring After School Program Lead to join our dedicated non-profit team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where students can learn, play, and thrive after the school day ends.
The After School Program Lead will support children through play-based learning, outdoor exploration, creative activities, and positive relationship building.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a valued member of our team, your role may include, but is not limited to:
Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for children
Plan and lead engaging indoor and outdoor activities
Support play-based and educational experiences
Prepare and provide healthy snacks
Foster positive relationships with children, families, and staff
Maintain appropriate supervision and safety standards at all times
QUALIFICATIONS
Current Criminal Record Check
Responsible Adult Certificate or Early Childhood Educator Certificate
Valid Child First Aid certification
Experience working with children in a childcare, educational, recreational, or similar setting
ADDITIONAL PREFERENCES
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Positive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
Passion for working with children and supporting their development
Familiarity with Montessori or play-based learning environments is considered an asset
HOURS
Applicants must be available Monday to Friday from 2:30 PM to 5:15 PM.
